The Long Hello
October 2023
The Long Hello is a snippet film created in collaboration with Kansas City Filmmaker, Jude Anderson.
While styling this project, I envisioned a character that blended the rugged charm of a '70s drifter with the sharp, well-groomed edge of an '80s biker. Jude wanted the character to have a leather jacket and exude a dark, mysterious presence. Although the scene is short, it’s clear the character is mindful of his appearance, but prefers not to draw too much attention—hence the black leather jacket concealing a bold lime-colored shirt. The use of high-quality vintage pieces suggests the character might have wealth, raising questions about his true intentions as he approaches the mysterious building.
I styled the character in:
A 70s lime green pearl snap shirt
70s black flared pants
A 60s black leather cafe racer jacket
80s black and red striped cowboy boots
A 90s black leather belt with a silver overlapping ring buckle
A Tahitian pearl necklace
